Real Madrid have 14 Champions League titles, Liverpool have 6, Manchester United have 3 in their history.
Michael Owen has 0 and played for all of them.
Makes you think.
Mbappe lied. Point blank. He told Real Madrid he was coming, he gave them his word.
At the last second, after Real Madrid gave up on Erling Haaland just because of him, he went back on his word.
Nobody can trust him now. A man is as good as his word. And his means nothing.
If you want to know why Real Madrid does not stop players from leaving the club no matter how promising (Odegaard/Hakimi) or important (CR7/Varane) they are, look no further than what is happening with Lewandowski and Bayern.
Every time I see a quote from Fede Valverde, I am reminded of how blessed we are as Real Madrid fans to have a player with his quality and character in the squad.
He always says and does the right things.
I love Tchouameni, but if Monaco start playing games and jacking up the price because of PSG, Real Madrid shouldn’t overpay. 80 million euros is a LOT as it is, more than enough, if we are being honest.
James Rodriguez achieved the peak of his success in club football at Real Madrid, winning LaLiga and the Champions League twice.
So it's quite annoying that not only did he try to join Atleti once, but he is also picking against Madrid publicly in the UCL Final.
I am sorry, but I am not buying this BS that Mbappe still dreams of Real. Mbappe made his decision, we can talk in circles about the pressure and everything, but he is an adult and he has to take responsibility for what he values.
Meanwhile, Real Madrid will move on. Forever.
I'd rather see Mbappe at Barcelona or retire at PSG than have him wear the Real Madrid shirt.
Please be done with this already. It's OVER. DONE. FINITO.
I think one of the biggest reasons Real Madrid fans will always love and respect Mourinho is the shared "win no matter what" mentality.
He really embodies that, just like Real Madrid does.
Fede Valverde earning "untouchable" status from Carlo Ancelotti after being barely used is one of my favorite storylines this season.
Madridistas were begging for this for months.
David Alaba was the most valuable free agent signing ever according to Transfermarkt at 55 million euros.
And Real Madrid are about to sign Kylian Mbappe (160 million euro value) for free.
Back-to-back game-changing free agent signings. More than 200 million euros for free.
Vini Jr. has become a whole lot of Madridistas' favorite player this season, and he probably earned that recognition from a few more with this unique gesture.
Eduardo Camavinga is pretty clearly going to win the Golden Boy Award.
Of course, the bigger deal is that he won the Champions League and bossed two of the world's best midfields at the end of matches to help Real Madrid get the 14th.
Camavinga is a teenager playing in one of the most intense UCL knockout matches you could imagine, and he's bossing it like the spirit of Zizou is in him.
It's all about converting your chances. Man City missed majority of their most decisive and crucial chances and Real Madrid converted theirs in the end, hence the result.
Football doesn't work on ifs and buts. The only thing that matters is the scoreboard.
Vinicius Jr. was the guy who Benzema said was playing against the team.
He missed a chance vs. Atalanta that had Sergio Ramos on the floor.
And now he is the man who delivered the game-winning goal for Real Madrid's 14th Champions League title.
Madridismo.
Benzema and Cristiano joined Real Madrid at the same time. Kaka, too. Gareth Bale arrived later as the world's record transfer. Just one example.
The concerns about Haaland/Mbappe co-existing with Benz/Vini are valid but overblown. Madrid is where superstars come together.
Mbappe declined a blank check from Qatar to extend with PSG but I'm supposed to believe he cares about being the club's all-time leading scorer over Cavani.
Gavi is very talented, but if you don't think Vinicius Jr. is the clear "Young Player of the Year" in LaLiga you are either
1) Someone who thinks 21 is "old"
2) Blatantly biased
3) Are beyond clueless about football
And if you aren't a Barça fan etc., you can't claim

so...
Jose Mourinho taught the world that you can control the ball without having it.
Carlo Ancelotti is just building on that with Real Madrid.
And it is OK if the world does not understand football.
Because we are the champions, my friend.
Not saying I believe this, but could you imagine this at Real Madrid?
An elite player like Modric, Benz, Kroos, Courtois, Case, Alaba etc. challenging the squad to raise their level and some goofs getting mad at it instead of being inspired?
Madrid is levels above.
🚨 Understand Harry Maguire is leading the way in the player revolt against Cristiano Ronaldo.
It’s though that Ronaldo has called out players on their standards and this has caused ‘unrest’ in some of the squad.

I wish Mbappe a great, successful career in Paris. I hope he gets everything he wants.
Except for one thing.
Football fans will never love him the way they love the legends he looks up to. He took everyone for a fool and chose the money and power of football's most cruel club.
I am still not over the fact that Toni Kroos didn't even make the top 30 Ballon d'Or shortlist after a season like that. He could arguably be the MOST underrated player in the history of this sport.
Vinicius is the standard of what we expect from a starting winger at Real Madrid. Not the players some of you praise who show half the quality, a fraction of the consistency, and none of the intensity that Vini does.
Yes Benzema did not have a good game, probably even one of his worsts. But the way almost the entire fanbase is turning against him because of a slight dip in form completely disregarding that he has been carrying the team for 4 years now is so disgusting and shameful.
Fede Valverde may have cemented his position on the right wing. Rodrygo is still ineffective, and Ancelotti clearly does not trust Asensio with a starting spot.
What astounds me is how well Valverde performs in a position that is not even his natural one. Generational talent.
The UAE bought Manchester City in 2008.
Qatar bought PSG in 2011.
*Cristiano Ronaldo voice*
We have five Champions League titles since then. And both of you, zero.
Vinicius Jr. was Real Madrid's leader in key passes, dribbles completed, assists, and fouls drawn in the Champions League.
He led or tied in all these stats except assists in LaLiga as well.
A workhorse with end product. One of the world's most skillful and consistent players.
Kylian Mbappe could legit get 30 assists in all comps playing with Benzema and Vinicius next season.
His goal-scoring is so ridiculous that people don't talk enough about how he is an elite playmaker now, too.
Remember, Zidane wrote a letter about how he felt like Perez and the club no longer had his back.
Why on earth would he want to work with Nasser Al-Khelaifi and that upper management circus at PSG which is 100 times more toxic than Madrid/Perez?
I will never forget this. One of the greatest press conference moments in history and an example of the leadership Cristiano brought to Madrid.
That gave Bale grace, and he exploded from there.
Bale never had it easy at Real Madrid from the beginning. CR7 himself had to ask the media to "Leave him alone" in his first season.
Gareth Bale was once a boy who had the dream to play and succeed at Real Madrid. And he absolutely did.
One thing I do not want anyone to forget about the Camavinga transfer for 30 million euros is that this bargain was only possible because Camavinga wanted Real Madrid above everything else.
Every time I think about the Champions League Final, I think about how we would not be in the match without Rodrygo.
After months of not being sure about his place, Rodrygo stepped his game up to another level entirely.
I hope we never take him for granted.
I am so so glad I have never had to hear a senior player at Real Madrid say these things.
Rodrygo, Fede, Vini, Camavinga, Militao, and so many others have shown the utmost respect to the likes of Karim, Lukita, Toni, Alaba, and Case.
Ronaldo: “I remember when I was 18 some older players spoke with me and I took that as having to improve, they know more than me as they have more bad moments. This new generation in general don’t accept that if you criticise them. I have kids I know. They do the opposite.”

If Real Madrid aren’t going to make upgrades at RB etc. and respond to the Clasico embarrassment, why should Haaland believe in their sporting project over Manchester City’s?
The dynamic among Real Madrid and Chelsea fans is hilarious right now.
Instead of the usual BS tweets and gloating, we are seeing two fanbases saying "No really, we're not good, we're going to lose, stop saying we're a tough team."
It's very wholesome 😂
Thinking about the penalty situation today at Manchester United, because it's something you would not see at Real Madrid.
Because at Madrid, there's a clear sense of respect in the locker room of who is best for each role and a knowledge of how things work. That matters.
I love that Real Madrid are going after Jude Bellingham. He is the real deal.
But man "replace Luka Modric" is a heavy phrase to use. Doesn't sit right with me.
Plus the "replacement" talk puts too much pressure and removes the appreciation of how unique these young guys are.
I apologize to those of you who are small children and afraid of jinxes, but we are a Real Madrid account, and if we don't gas up our players before a final, who else will?
There's a reason why we are so disrespected compared to what the club achieves. We need that PR.
If you need something to reassure you, just remember we have a top 5 attacker in Vinicius, Rodrygo potentially getting to that level, and some fantastic prospects like Peter.
Difference from last summer to this one is that we are in the UCL Final and have talent breaking out.
People on the outside talk a lot about Real Madrid being a toxic environment, but look at the support Luka Jovic is getting from his teammates publicly. Everyone has been rooting for him, and that's a wonderful sight.
