Hey @NASA - if you need a test pilot to take this bird for a spin - I’m ready to serve! 😁.

Our @NASAAero X-59 ✈️ was cleared for final assembly & integration of its systems. The X-59 is designed to fly faster than sound without loud sonic booms. Data from the flights will help establish new rules for commercial supersonic air travel over land.

One year after the 50th anniversary of landing on the moon, I’m happy to see that America’s greatness is continuing in Space, and that our nation is embarking on the new program, Artemis, to return to the moon in the early 2020’s.

50 years ago today, Neil Armstrong, Mike Collins and I launched into space on a mission of enormous importance. God bless the 400,000 Americans who helped us get to the moon and back. Together, we Americans can do anything! Never forget July 16, 1969! #Apollo50

61 years ago today @NASA's X-15 hypersonic aircraft made its first glide flight. The X-15 could fly at a top speed of 4,520 mph! Its 199 flights including one with my commander during Apollo 11 Neil Armstrong, marked the dawn of a new era for aeronautics research.

The first thing I do every morning is put the American flag up on my balcony; and every night I take it down, and.properly fold and store it. It’s saddens me how few people do this anymore. #proudtoserve #mycountry #ourfreedom #usa #ifyoustandfornothingyoullfallforeverything

I've always said that fighter pilots have ice in their veins and are best under pressure. @GenChuckYeager can still turn-and-burn with the best! He's always had His Right Stuff for 97 years! Happy birthday, my friend! 🇺🇸
