4/The visual and textual art that is showcased in each issue of The Pickled Body, plays. It plays with the senses, in whatever way that plays out for the reader. As editors, we delight in pulling the issues together; we take great care in (doing) this work.

3/ Each artist we have featured, across our 10(!) issues has made our job easy, in terms of showing our 'face' in the digital space - we have been fortunate enough to work with ambitious artists, who take our themes and through some accident of love and nature, create beauty.

2/It is a delight to read through all the submissions, to look at what each writer does with a particular theme; from this, the issue takes shape, and takes up space in the world. We are always grateful, too, to the featured artists who create such beautiful work for us -
