🌼THIS AUGUST🌼. We are delighted to be part of @KingsbridgeTown Love Your Park event (11 Aug), working with Harbour House to deliver a series of Film Photography Nature Walks (11am,12pm & 1pm) and a drop-in flower pressing workshop (11am-2pm) in Kingsbridge Recreation Ground!

This project is funded by Arts Lab, a creative wellbeing programme by and for young people in Cornwall, delivered by @HeadStartKernow, @FEASTCornwall and @ArtsWellCIC.

We've had two brilliant sessions flower arranging, planting sunflower seeds and playing our favourite music with St Austell Memory Cafe and Penrice Academy!💐. We can't wait for our next session together, where we will be showcasing the participants' photobooks.

The Young People Grant is a joint venture between @FEASTCornwall and Arts Lab. The aim of the grant is to enable festivals to work with local young people (aged 16-30) as both audiences and organisers.

The grant will help us bring together Art & Photography A-Level students from @Callingtoncol & @SensoryTrust's dementia friendly Walk & Laugh group. The students will run art workshops with the walking group, culminating in an exhibition at The Tamara Landscape River Festival.

🌳EXCITING NEWS🌳. We are thrilled to announce that we have been awarded a Young People Festivals Grant by @FEASTCornwall. This grant is part of the Extraordinary Art in Everyday Project (EAEP) funded by the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.

The project was commissioned by @CalstockParish’s Working Group for Nature Recovery as part of their Environment and Climate Emergency Strategic Plan, and supported by @FEASTCornwall @ace_national @CornwallCouncil @SensoryTrust @CalstockArts Tamara Landscape Partnership 🙏.
