A lot of people ask me how I balance marriage, 3 kids, work and cEDH. The answer is "badly". It's a struggle. I wish I could freeze time to play in tournaments every weekend w/o giving up Family time. But I can't. So I have to pick/choose tournaments and buy my wife stuff.

I think instead of yelling at a guy that used AI to make some stupid bird tokens, I'll go buy some art from an artist. Fighting against the use of AI for simple things like this is like fighting the tides of the ocean. You won't win.

Seems like an easy choice to me to level up your game. Plus it's always fun to see Ian get all giddy when someone he worked with kills it in a tourney.

We really need to do something about the lack of Diversity in cEDH. We just had the biggest tournament the west coast has ever seen and there was only ONE blue deck in the top 4. Oh and Gwenom, Arcum Dagsson and Teferi made top16. Boring amirite?

Never saw nor particularly wanted Mayhem Devil. But all of these evaluations are so dependent on the specific games I ran into. I'm not ready to draw any real conclusions just yet.

Jwill might have done something in the look at 3 random cards mode, but I don't think I lost any games because I didn't have enough red mana. Spell Pierce was just great. Highlight was opponent cast a Smothering Tithe, got Commandeered, Commandeered back and THEN I pierced it

My build of Blue Farm felt very strong overall. Let's be real, it's just a standard build with the normal 5-10 flex slots. My choices of note were no Jwill, no Flare, and includes of Spell Pierce and Mayhem Devil. I don't think Flare would have ever been relevant.

Top 16, I was actually super locked in, turned a mull to 5 into a very strong start that should have made for a great game but 1st seat just had the nuts and I never saw a turn 2. Nothing I could have done better in that game.
