Agree with these thoughts, wanted to briefly add some of my own. I'd love to see a world where collegiate is both viable for t2 esports (in competition and as partners to t1 teams) and is used to develop players as both players and people.
Some of these plans I’m hearing for college teams are literally people just using a university as a vessel to run a pro org What is the point of signing player mercenaries who play for their different semi pro teams all year, not practice with the school and then shit on college
