It was Newbridge or nowhere this year. @KildareGAA's revamped home was 2nd most used ground in 2025 along with @CLGLaois's O'Moore Park, which was clear in 🥈 spot in 2024 (13 games). @CrokePark tops the table. 3rd in 2024 were Pearse Park @OfficialLDGAA & Dr Cullen @Carlow_GAA

Just 41 referees saw top level intercounty action in 2025, compared with 70 in 2024. The loss of pre-season games is the main explanation. Will there be longer-term implications for officiating as a result of this constriction in high level opportunities for referees?

2025 v 2024. ▶️ Average score / game is up significantly. Even accounting for the 998 two pointers scored, the average points would be 31.38 & total / game would be 38.21. ▶️ Surprised to see average goals scored actually went UP. Would still like to see 4 point goal though.

Hey, this table didn't end up being so far off the mark after all! Basically it's all games played in 2025, league and championship. Two points for a win, one point for a draw. Table ranked by points and then score difference.
