Rewatched THE NIGHTINGALE, infuriating, devastating and simply, beautiful. Jennifer Kent’s direction is at a height unlike no other, it’s incredibly dark and full of gut-wrenching emotion. Hard to explain the spell Kent puts you under, simply, it’s just fantastically masterful.

I saw Jennifer Kent’s The Nightingale at Sundance in January and it hasn’t left me since. I’m going to see it for the second time today with @TripleChrisDawg and I’ve spent all day bracing myself to experience the raw, unbridled fearlessness of this story again. @TheNightingale
