To truly reach ALL learners a Multi-Modal Approach to education must be provided. We need to value ALL ways that students can comprehend and communicate learning in order to truly be meeting the needs of every student in our classrooms.

#GenerativeAI is not an enemy to education - it is an important tool in moving education forward - there was a time education pushed back against calculators, internet, & search engines. We learned & adapted into learning. Forward thinking is the way!

#Literacy = Multimodal - Text & Written Word is one means to acquiesce knowledge & comprehend. Please don’t do a disservice to Ss by forcing them to learn in one way. #Cultures learn in multimodal ways. Educators please be #culturallyresponsive when it comes to literacy.

100 percent of students can comprehend, when provided with the best way to acquire information. Stop forcing one way to intake and allow for the exploration of in taking knowledge through multi modal means.

ED THOUGHT OF THEY DAY - If your assignments, projects, tests, etc. can be completed by using #generativeAI then I question your pedagogical choices. AI is a reality, Ss deserve tasks that challenge & not ones that tech can solve for them.
