For example, I've seen several movies being advertised as "tackling the issue of mental health.". But mental health isn't an issue. Mental illness is. It's a trend in modern parlance that bothers me a lot.
Has anyone else noticed the weird grammatical shift that's taken place where "mental health" has come to mean "mental illness"? . It's very strange, because technically mental "health" should be a good thing. It should be good to be mentally healthy.
