Also not got the funds available to rent a van from Enterprise, etc for the weekend to do so. Have asked neighbours if they have room for some items, but they like us haven’t 🥺

Just not got room in bungalow to take everything out of the room & don’t want to just put outside & hope it doesn’t rain/snow/dog piss up items/etc.

Don’t want to drive it, but to park outside my bungalow to store bookcases & living room furniture inside the back of it whilst redecorate living room & lay laminate flooring. Reason for not having open to back from cab is to stop anyone looking in & seeing its loaded up.

Serious question, has anyone (in England, pref East Midlands/Cambs) got a Luton van (or LWB high roof van with blanked bulkhead wall (no window or open to back), I could borrow for a weekend? Won’t have any miles put on it (see next post for explanation)

Gold wafer has arrived & the box (which is Chinese not Korean as first thought) is for a 12900KS not just a K (not that makes any difference). Absolutely immaculate as well

I say YES he should be given a chance & paroled on License with GPS Monitoring to prove himself a changed man. Plenty of others that done worse (murderers, etc) have served less than half what he has before being given parole (including Jamie Bulgers killers!) 2/2

I could even go for a Ryzen 5950X or AM4 x3D CPU🤔 But if I done that I would feel unclean, seriously, I would feel like a leper & my arms would probably fall off just thinking about it 🫣🥺

Could even do case swap the 9900K guts into one of the older Corsair cases sat here & then would just need a NVMe m.2 SSD (or take one out of my main rig🤔) to put the Z690/12900K into the LanCool II Mesh C Performance case. Could use the 9900K then for encoding/streaming rig🤔

Could even then buy a RTX2060 to go in the Plex Server, take the RTX2080 out of the Plex Server & put in the 9900K rig (+ the 32GB DDR4 kit sat here), and use the RTX3080ti/64GB DDR4 out of the 9900K rig to use in the 12900K.

Thinking of giving up looking for a cheap Z370/Z390 motherboard… Looks like it would actually be cheaper to buy a DDR4 Z690 board & a 12900K (used for both obviously!). Would also be significantly faster than the i7 8700 CPU I have sat here waiting for a motherboard…

I actually was considering one of these for productivity work but not at £120 & even though I already have a load of USB-C cables (& PowerPlay mat if needed/compatible), I won’t out of pure principle.

First @Logitech continue forcing Micro USB for a decade after every other brand had gone USB-C, now they don’t even provide you with a cable in the box to charge the £120 mouse you have just bought (not that I have or will!!!)
