There has been no @O2 signal in Cumbernauld for what, 5 weeks now? @JDGyms staff keep saying there’s a broken phone mast and O2 hasn’t fixed it? It’s infuriating because I commute there 4 times a week into a deadzone and everyone is just shrugging their shoulders. 🤷🏼‍♂️🤷🏼‍♂️

Oh and this was all over the jaw-dropping amount of £40 by the way. But the value is not the point. The point is that if I pay for insurance and you burn my package? I get that money back without having to jump olympic level hurdles.

And our fully insured parcel still showed “unable to be delivered” Possibly because by that point it was a smouldering pile of ashes. But STILL Royal Fail dug their heels in and refused to pay out. Actually gobsmacked at how stupid the people we’ve dealt with have been.

I am actually stunned at the lack of basic understanding this company has shown. We sent a parcel, you burnt it to a crisp and yet you’re acting like WE did something wrong? You even sent a letter to the recipient of the parcel stating that the van went on fire. 🤡

The response from @RoyalMail is such a joke. We have been chasing an insurance claim for months; and they still actually asked us to provide photos of damaged packaging - AFTER THEIR VAN WENT ON FIRE. Should I have sent you a photo of a pile of ashes? Bunch of clowns. 🤡

We proved all evidence to them that they asked for, including the letter the recipient of the mail received FROM ROYAL MAIL in their area confirming the van caught fire and burnt the contents. — It makes you think they deliberately drag it out in the hopes people give up.

So @RoyalMail are a joke. They’re making us jump hoops to get our money back for an insured parcel that - wait for it - was destroyed because THEIR VAN CAUGHT FIRE. Oh and the stupid request they ask weeks later is “You need to send a photo of the destroyed parcel.” 🤡
