* 𝐑𝐞𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐁𝐨𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝐨𝐟 𝐓𝐫𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐞𝐬 monthly and be in regular contact with the Chair. As this is a unique role, the salary is competitive and will depend on experience. This role is open to applications from all backgrounds.

* 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐦𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧 𝐟𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐲, working closely with Trustees to identify potential funding opportunities, submitting applications, and reporting on progress.

* 𝐒𝐞𝐭 𝐮𝐩 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤 𝐬𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐬 in conjunction with the HMP Bristol Catering Manager for the purchasing, production, and delivery of food products for The Key Cafe.

* 𝐑𝐞𝐜𝐫𝐮𝐢𝐭 𝐜𝐚𝐟𝐞 𝐬𝐮𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐨𝐫𝐬 and liaise with representatives from HMPs Bristol and Leyhill and Eastwood Park to employ and train staff. * 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐛𝐮𝐝𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐬, including design & build, café set-up and sourcing.

𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐑𝐄𝐒𝐏𝐎𝐍𝐒𝐈𝐁𝐈𝐋𝐈𝐓𝐈𝐄𝐒: * 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐟 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐊𝐞𝐲 𝐂𝐚𝐟𝐞, source supplies, equipment, set up systems etc. and work with trustees and expert partners to design the menu.

The Project Manager will work with our trustees, lead designer, builders, and expert partners, to ensure The Key Café and central production kitchen, in HMP Bristol, are delivered on time and to budget.

𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐏𝐑𝐎𝐉𝐄𝐂𝐓: We currently have an empty prison building, on Gloucester Road, which we are transforming into The Key Café.

When The Key Café is open and as the charity grows and develops, there will be the opportunity for the right candidate to transition into a permanent role, either as manager of The Key Café or manager of The Key charity.

This is a ground-breaking and exciting project that is gaining significant support across the city and creating real excitement within the charity sector in Bristol.

The Café will provide work placements for people who have left prison, and those still in prison but released on temporary licence. The Key aims to provide training, support, and work experience to help reduce reoffending, rebuild lives, and unlock potential.

👀 We're looking for a Bristol/South West based Project Manager, to work part time (equivalent of 2 days per week, can be spread over the week) on a fixed term, 6-month contract to open our cafe on Gloucester Rd, Bristol.
