@tmdmrv In 1982, King Sunny Ade, backed by Island Records, released an album called Juju Music. It was dub-heavy, synth-laden, full of studio effects. A lot of Nigerians pushed back. Said this is not Juju Music. In the 90s same dude recorded three well-received classic albums.
