I will say they let me look at it before paying which is maybe unusual based on the stories I’ve heard?. But aside from missing the stolen keys and being out of gas it seems to be in good shape!.

At the impound lot. This place is huge, they take you out to your car in a shuttle. $222 dollars for getting it the same day it arrives. There are probably thousands of cars here. The city must be making bank running this place.

Update: car has turned up at the Minneapolis impound lot. No word on condition. I have to pay $222 to get it back. Can’t even look at it to see if it works until I pay. Wish me luck!.
