I think AI art is fine when used as a tool for ideation, but using it entirely to take credit for art you didn't make using a program you also didn't make to win at art contests with human artists is dishonest and unworthy of recognition.
TL;DR — Someone entered an art competition with an AI-generated piece and won the first prize. Yeah that's pretty fucking shitty.
