The Silk @sanjsokutepa is right. In Solola v State (2005)/Obidike v State (2001) - the Supreme Court held that a convicted prisoner who has an appeal pending is not qualified for Pardon, pending the outcome of the appeal. Guess the Learned AGF wasnât aware of the appeal.

Justice Faji does this. All matters on the cause list have time allotted to them. If your matter is slated for 11am, he wonât take it until that time unless both parties are in court and willing to go on.

The hearing notice can ask parties to be in court between 2PM - 3PM. 2-3 matters can be scheduled in that time slot, depending on what it's scheduled for.
