I know this is minor compared to the horror show of everything else, but it feels like societally everything is constantly getting worse all the time, every little thing.

This game came out today, but despite being a Nintendo Switch 2 exclusive made by people behind Nintendo published games like Another Code and Hotel Dusk, inexplicably wasn’t in the direct today. Heck I’ve barely seen any marketing at all. Weird.

It’s kinda weird that so many people are blaming the game key card thing on publishers *other* than Nintendo. Like I’m 90% sure these being crazy expensive proprietary carts locked to 64 gigs is the main reason devs are doing this, surely there was a better way.

I remember when this take was popping up like crazy around Color Splash and Origami King. Just kinda funny because I got the vibe that the people saying this were angry kids who had never played the old games lashing out at people criticizing Nintendo.

The CRT filter on the SNES NSO app has been updated, the footage with Dixie is the old filter. Hard to see the full difference since Switch screen recording is lower res though

Oh! They seem to have added button remapping to all games on the SNES app too! Other old apps haven’t been updated with this yet, presumably they will be once new games are added.

Just checked, mouse mode now works with Mario Picross as well, so presumably any game that used the SNES mouse is now compatible!.
