Scripture addresses the soul, the mind, behavior, motives, and relationships. Talking about psychology and accountability doesn’t weaken faith. It applies it.

Human behavior is amazing. This is why it’s important to watch patterns, not just hear words. Jesus didn’t just give commands, He gave Himself as the example.

One thing I’ve learned in life: nothing weakens a testimony, a teachable moment, or a preached message faster than being told to do what the speaker isn’t doing, or to stop what they themselves are guilty of.

Apologize as needed but stop overthinking and stop over apologizing.
