We are absolutely thrilled that The Dining Room has retained its Michelin star! This fantastic achievement is a testament to the brilliance that the whole team create on a daily basis. We very much look forward to welcoming our guests to The Dining Room over the coming year.

The new Goring cocktail list is a journey through time with drinks from the hotel’s history. This cocktail is The Sweeney, dedicated to Peter Sweeney who joined us in 1965 & 56 short years later we are still very lucky to see his smiling face every day.

Sugar and spice and all things nice. That’s what our ‘Nice’ Christmas tree is made of. Look closely, you’ll even find shiny silver spoons amongst the branches.

Many congratulations to our Pastry Chef Chris Seddon: leading Team UK to 4th place in the World Cup of Patisserie in Lyon, the highest place ever for a British team. The intricacy of the design was astonishing; we’re proud of you, Chris and team!

Aprons at the ready… the Coupe du Monde de la Patisserie, the World Cup of pastry, takes place this weekend in Lyon. UK team captain is our own pastry star, Chris Seddon. Chris & the team will be up against the very best talent in a bid to bring the title home. Bonne chance!

Negroni Week 2021 is taking place this week & with Seven Hillls Gin, The Goring Cocktail Bar is celebrating with The Negroni Italiano (Grandpa Goring’s favourite) & the Garden Negroni (a freshened up take on the classic). Each one utterly delicious. Do pop by & try them!

We are so pleased that Chelsea is back on this year, just down the road. We’ll be serving a very special celebratory afternoon tea and if the sun comes out you can enjoy it in our Goring Gardens. Available for three weeks from 13th September.
