BTW, my real name is NOT a “secret.” And it’s easily discovered AND in print. But my behavior is dictated by which version of “me” a person knows. That should be something, I’d think, anyone can relate to & understand.

Today a fan asked my “real name.” . In my experience, most with stage names don’t WANT to share that info. I consider folks who only know a persona calling me such “a red flag.” . That’s a pretty standard boundary many entertainers place between ourselves & audiences.
