Hey friends, after my recent vacation & taking some time to reflect, it’s clear hosting and producing a podcast is more time consuming than I anticipated. So I’m taking some time to prioritize other pursuits. Hopefully, I can come back soon. Thanks for listening! It’s been fun!

So many WDW CMs attend UCF. This is shocking to me and I don’t blame anyone who feels abandoned.

$5250 won’t even cover the average annual undergrad tuition costs at University of Central Florida. Wow. What a terrible decision. The Orange County Register added some context. It doesn’t help but it does explain. 🙄
Disney Aspire, The Walt Disney Company’s education investment and career development program for Cast Members, is receiving major changes. Effective immediately, Master’s programs and Penn Foster Trades programs will no longer be available for new enrollment through Disney

Did she think maybe the person just didn’t see her? I’ve been through plenty of embarrassing situations where I thought someone was making eye contact with me & it turned out to be someone behind me lol I don’t think it’s too much to offer people a little grace, “famous” or not.
This mentality is so gross and entitled. Just because someone makes content does NOT mean they owe you their time. They’re not required to stop and talk to you. If you follow someone’s content that doesn’t entitle you to their personal time. Content creators are people with

Park pals! She has a bag with a pin window and a clear sparkly bag that’s concert venue appropriate! These bags are so cute (much cuter than the knock off version)! I will be preordering one for future theme park trips! Take a look at her site!

Well, I have had a terrible no good really bad week and have had some unexpected personal setbacks. No new episode this week like I’d planned. I will try to have one up for you before I leave for Disneyland next weekend. So sorry!

Just saw this on IG. Disney concept art has always been wild. Look at this. That’s supposed to be Tom Hanks & Daryl Hannah from Splash right? 😂 Were they just gonna be wandering around? Or was this just to make people think they would be since Splash was THE HIT at the time?

Spot on analysis that leads to a brilliant conclusion: Watch Austenland. The answer is always to watch Austenland.
These two works have basically the same premise, but a huge difference is in their endings: LIA’s Amanda stays in P&P with Mr. Darcy, while AAIA’s Harriet goes back to the real world. This difference reveals the starkly different perspectives these works are coming from (1/?)

The absolute silence in the movie theater as this movie ended is still one of the most amazing reactions I’ve ever witnessed to a film. I’ve been to see a lot of Marvel movies on opening night and typically there’s always clapping. But this one time, no one moved a muscle.

But thats not what they meant. The implication was the inclusion of smut means a lack of character development & plot. Those concepts aren’t mutually exclusive. Trust me, I read romance a lot. Romance is a wide & varied genre. Ask people who read it (nicely) & they’ll help you.

I did not just see a tweet that said “romance novels have become literal porn!” Babe, the romance genre has something for everyone. If you want something that doesn’t have spice, I promise you there are PLENTY of them. And they’re not hard to find.

So, while you may not like the canned response, it means the company received enough emails/letters/phone calls on the topic that they decided they needed to craft a specific message for every rep to send in reply.

I need people to understand that canned responses are the cornerstone of Customer Service. They achieve consistency in messaging and save your representatives time when you’re inundated with letters. Individual responses to mass feedback on the same topic would eat up the day.
