A first look at Winter the Orpington's chicks. She has a mix of Cream Lgbar, Yellow Legged Leghorns, Braekels, French Splash Marans and French Blue Marans. They're adorable.

Wait for me!!!! . It's so different watching Egret the Orpington and her mixed breed chicks compared to the broody hens with Orpington chicks. They are so fast and love living life at 100 mph. The Orpington chicks are much more chilled out. I love them all!

Puffin's second clutch of chicks are doing so well. They're just 10 days old and are such bold little characters.

I love these daily routines with the chicks. It ensures that as they grow, the youngsters see us as trustworthy. Just for fun, how many different breeds (I'll count different colours of the same breed as 2) do you think Egret the Orpington has in her clutch of chicks?
