I think the most important part of ICTs teachings is the draw on liquidity.
If you can figure out where price is headed on the highest timeframe you can find, any type of entry can work, just don’t be too greedy with your SL.
Giveaway time for October!

Every successful trader I know had to sacrifice something precious for them to reach their profitable stage.
Relationship(s), Health, Sanity, definitely Time. Something will leave you.
I’ve lost accounts with Funding Talent after they went under, I lost my accounts with The Prop Trading when ASIC hit them, and I've lost this account with My Forex Funds if they really are committing fraud and I can't help but to laugh it off. This is the game we choose to play
3 years of trading Breaker + FVG with many examples on my twitter and telegram throughout the years.
The longevity is from trusting our mentor that the setups have edge, applying core content, losing a ton, journaling every little detail, and just not quitting.
Do you trade? Watch these YouTube channels!

Price has 3 options for seeking liquidity
Internal sponsorship -> External target
External sponsorship -> Internal target
External sponsorship -> External target
If you focus on internal liquidity targets, you can get paid before others and you can win more trades/increase SR.

Winners announced Thursday @ 23 UTC 😁 GOOD LUCK!!🔥
The bigger the move, the quieter the following session.
If NY session has a huge expansive move, Tokyo price action will usually be flat.
Tokyo expansion = flat London
London expansion = flat NY
If you only trade in 1 major session, now you know when to take the day off.
Young traders automatically enter the game with an edge, time.
You are almost guaranteed for success by giving yourself years to get consistent with trading. Don’t blow it. Work that job, save that money, put in a 1-3hrs a day or 5-15 hours a week.
You will be good.
Price action concepts tend to create predictive traders but it doesn't have to be that way.
Instead of assuming a FVG or breaker will hold, look for a new lower timeframe structure break at that higher timeframe area you're looking to enter on.
Basic confluence to reduce L's
Time & Price Theory
The framework of your market structure should be derived from the highest timeframe you're trading with.
- High timeframe is where trade basis is built.
- Mid level timeframe is used to find levels unseen on HTF.
- Low timeframe is where we execute.
I can see many traders don't know how to backtest. 1st thing is to take it seriously and put in more than just minutes..try HOURS. Write down your rules, go back and see if price did exactly what you needed it to do for an entry. Then do that 100+ times. That's a great start 👍
Finance Documentaries you need to watch this year
- The Power of the Fed
- Global Finance System
- The Untouchable Bank HSBC (Global Finance Scandal)
- In the Age of A.I.
Directional bias is just a piece of the chart puzzle. Psychology + LTF execution will be where you work hardest. You can know exactly where we are headed on HTF but if you don't have the right invalidation, you're screwed! This is where model's become useful. Entry Systems ✍️
I experienced a family lifestyle change from $125,000/yr to $56,000/yr for 4 of us during the GFC, so I will never forget the financial lessons my dad gave me throughout my life.
Here’s my favorite dad lesson.
“Son, when you have your business, divide the earnings into 3 parts
When you get a strong market structure shift with a Fair Value Gap cutting through, the high quality entries will respect that FVG.
Look at major tops and bottoms. Cycle through timeframes until you see this, because it's there.
Knowing when you're wrong before you're wrong 🔑
I'm happy people think ICT doesn't work for stocks or crypto. You know how many entry methods are available with ICTs concepts and you still think none of them work? Oh well, more money for us.
MMXM Traders, the low risk buy and low risk sell are high risk until you know what you’re doing.
Take the silver bullet/2nd leg before you trade LRB/LRS, you get easier money than those who trade the reversal.
Study how HTF looks to get comfortable with trading the origin.
The more I study filled FVG's, the more mind blown I'm getting. Adding in premium and discount, risking lower in EQ of ranges and higher in overbought/oversold conditions. Stocks, Crypto, Forex, Bonds, it's nuts😵🔥
If this trading month was hard for you then here are things to consider.
1. Tighten your targets. Seek the internal, nearby, obvious liquidity
2. Can you exit where you partial and win more trades?
3. Use HTF SMT & HTF + LTF premium & discount
4. Frame entries around HTF FVGs
When you get consistent at this game, think like a survivor. Invest your winnings into things/ways that can set you up for a relaxing & peaceful life.
Be tactical about everything you do in the markets, your profits aren’t promised & you don’t want to go out bad.
If you're a range trader, Tokyo Session is calling your name. Study how it delivers and how you can play extremes of the consolidation to take to the other side.
Don't know where to start? The Judas Swing is a great example of a setup you can use that's based off the Asia Range
Do you struggle with the Market Maker Models?
Instead of targeting the initial consolidation, target a distribution leg (FVG), which would be internal liquidity.
Don't guess. Find the easy target and seek that nearby liquidity so you can be wrong and still make money.
If the previous days high is taken + a low time frame structure break, price tends to move to the other side of the previous days candle, the low in this case.
Apply that same concept to literally any timeframe.
Then study how the low timeframes deliver to find your fractal.
War is a disguise for monetary reset. National fear, gratitude of survival, and collective responsibility take the stage. Fiat Mining has repercussions. It's an evil game.
Wealth isn't about how much you own. It's how little you worry about money.
Spend wisely, save wisely, invest wisely. Write down the $$ you need to patch the holes, then acknowledge your accomplishments. Don’t create your own financial prison by being greedy. I want you happy.
If you have your stop loss at the origin of the move on the low timeframes and you see the breaker candle getting disrespected, that's a signal you're in a low quality trade.
A real point of interest should hold and give a quick reaction away after being tagged.
Everyone blows their account(s) on the journey to consistently profitable.
Risk low enough / paper trade until you’re confident with putting on size. Wait until you have good results.
The more you lose, the more you need to recover if you finally have positive expectancy.
Here’s a beginners guide to finding optimal trading conditions:
- Look at the high time frame candles and focus on the previous HTF candle high & low (daily, weekly, or monthly)
- Trade when price is outside of previous HTF high/low and avoid trading when price is inside (1/2)
SMC obviously works… there’s plenty of 6figure+ traders using ICTs concepts.
This is where social media can be bad, you hear a great trader talk down on your way of approaching the markets, but always remember it’s just a person sharing their experience. So many ways to trade!
“People are foolish to think FTMO is the silver bullet…” - ICT
It’s true, if you can’t manage $500-$10,000, you won’t be able to manage $100,000, so focus on the process first.
Prop is leverage. It’s a tool to use when you’re ready to apply pressure.
The strongest structure breaks happen when price engineers Buyside or Sellside at the POI to trade through before the break.
This is much better than any origin and breaker setup you see on a chart.
HTF POI -> LTF Fractal/Swing created -> Stops taken -> MSB/BOS -> Revert
I’ve observed a lot of trading journeys, lots of new prop accounts & new come ups for people I’ve seen struggle through my time on twitter. Many would have quit & I’ve seen many disappear. Be happy with your progress.
I’m very proud of you.
Cheat Codes for beginners Finding Targets
- If you trade using a swing(fractal) high/low as sponsorship, you target the nearest swing high/low
- If you enter from a HTF FVG, you target the nearest HTF FVG
- If you enter after PXH/PXL, you target the other side of the candle.
It took me a long time to realize EVERY loss can be a lesson. The deeper I dive into ICTs lessons, my trading gets taken to another level. I can't believe we have access to this knowledge.
The entry models you're learning can form in places they're not suppose to and use you as liq. The real tek lies in learning how to read HTF order flow to anticipate where these models are suppose to form.
Displacement is an algorithmic or whale signal in PA. If you compare your OBs/LPs with & without inefficiencies, one of the two play out with a lot more continuation.
No imbalance = No pressure on price
H1 context is all you really need for m1. Then add the daily open, then FVG sponsorship, then time, then look at your setup on Tuesday & Thursday compared to Mondays and Fridays.
I guarantee you’ll start to see positive results
Prop is a tool, but the business model for FTMO, MFF, etc. can appear predatory with expectations for traders to make 8/10% in 30days.
Learn from my mistakes!
- Do the free trials
- Journal all trades
- Once you win a few trials, replicate the winning formula on the challenge
If someone says something doesn't work in trading, 99% of the time they mean they personally can't make something work.
Trading is hard, most people don't make it because of themselves. You need to be willing to get your teeth kicked more than the next person.
I know a few ICT guys who are afraid to look at the charts and encounter their mistakes, so they’re waiting for ICT to give them some sort of special secret. If you’re a failing ICT student, listen, this man can’t save you. You need to save yourself. Stop being lazy!
It’s funny hearing people say ICTs concepts will get saturated.
I wouldn’t take these guys seriously because only people who actually makes money using Michaels concepts would understand the type of work ethic and patience you need to see PA through his lens.
I love trading because there are so many ways to execute in this game and once you get over the personal issues brought to the charts, a lot of strategies get easier.
Then it becomes a game of finding the best edge that you can execute on. You can settle or continue to learn.
High probability trades require more than a raid, structure break, and RTO/RTB…
How is PA delivering on the way and at your entry? Are there reasons for price to seek the opposite side?
If you can’t answer those questions for your setup, you’re just trading a pattern.
Not many people know the markets have stopped multiple times throughout history.
- 1865 Lincoln assassination (7 days)
- 1873 Cooke & Co. bankruptcy (10 days)
- 1914 WW1 (4 months)
- 1939 WW2 London Stock Exchange (1 week)
- 9/11 (6 days)
+ multiple circuit breakers
When you hear someone say “trading is easy,” they almost always have a service. This is a manipulation tactic.
Everyone who’s been in the game long enough knows how difficult trading can be, especially as a beginner & “easy” preys on the minds of the mentally fatigued.
I don’t mind sharing most of my knowledge & blueprints because while things may look simple, the hard work is in your head.
You need to be able to control risk, manage emotions & potential drawdown, + way more psychological aspects that go beyond the pattern.
When my mother and father were diagnosed with terrible illnesses some days I wouldn't eat, some days it felt like I couldn't fuckin breath. Everything has and still relies upon me.
I went to drugs to escape reality. 7th grade to Freshman Year of College
Think of premium and discount like an oscillator. It’s the same idea as being oversold and overbought on RSI/Stochastic, except with premium and discount you have context. That subtle difference is everything.
To anyone hurt today, please remember that this money stuff is really nothing. There's people in the world who love you and their life would be ruined forever if you did something irreversible. Take care ♥️
Spent 3 weeks showing my mate some setups, he took the easy things and crafted his own. The feedback I received this week is a sign I need to continue what I do and I'm going to go harder so we can all be at the top of our game.
