KENTUCKY ROUTE ZERO interpretation: I have recently finished my first playthrough of KRZ and I posted my full review on Letterboxd. Here, I'd like to post my own interpretation of the game's events, so here it is: 🧵

I don't want to hate on E33, but this really does look like a Chinese gacha game and I think a lot of people find it off putting because of that. Way too many particles, effects, a jumbled art direction and confused character design.

It's weird that people see Fromsoft's games with this lens because, honest to God, they would be absolutely nothing to write home about if it weren't for their narrative. Worldbuilding, the meticulous art in every corner of the game, the lore were, to me, way more important.
2022 Elden Ring, a game where the story absolutely second to gameplay. Won GOTY 2023 Baldurs Gate 3, probably the game with the deepest gameplay system to win at TGA. Won GOTY 2024 Astrobot, a platformer that was essentially a fucking Sony advert. Won GOTY

What strikes me about this whole thing is that Elon has completely fallen under the delusion that he can just say things into existence. None gives a flying fuck what you think, and the European public doesn't care about the opinions of an American billionaire.
JUST IN: Elon Musk says "the EU Commission should be disbanded in favor of an elected body and the EU President should be directly elected." "The current system is rule by bureaucracy, not democracy."

And one more thing: to think that any European population feels any particular kinship to Elon Musk himself or Trump is moronic.

Inspiring a sense of antagonism towards the EU doesn't tear it apart, it brings it together. The idea that the USA quitting its military support would do anything aside from forcing the EU to stand more united in order to fill that gap is ridiculous.

What truly baffles me about this whole thing is that Elon Musk actually thinks angry tweets written by Russian bots have any bearing whatsoever on what the European public (which is ultimately the only one that could dismantle the EU) thinks.
Every right-wing oligarch, podcaster, hack, Russian apologist, paid influencer, and bot has been activated in a coordinated manner to attack Europe after the EU fined Musk.

I really do wonder though: what does this kind of communist think about Russia? How do they concile the fact that Putin is clearly an authoritarian right wing president with everything else?

Something genuinely disconcerting about checking out the replies to what is essentially an elementary school level math problem

Frankly, I think we could clock in that she wasn't a balanced and rational individual when she said she wanted to tattoo herself blue permanently.

They simply like the popularity that it brings them; maybe they even get some money from it. To be frank, to think that their aims are as machiavelian as training their audience to distrust reality itself is overestimating their own ambitions, which are unfortunately very mundane

It's a feature of conspiratorial thought to have to find extravagant, complex reasons for actions which are actually extremely simple to comprehend. It's no mistery why some content creators choose to make ai videos, be it of animals or anything else.

Just saying, the use of this "they" is virtually the same as the use of "they" by a qanon conspiracist. The real "they" who make ai animal videos is people who simply want to go viral, and the ones who make the ai tools to make those videos do it because it makes money.

What a weird pivot for @Nintendo, this is really inappropriate for children. I definitely won't be buying any more Pokemon games for my two kids.

We Italians truly are the most oppressed people out there.

So 2010 was the year when they decided "you know what? Let's just rip-off all of Satoshi Kon's movies."

You look at it from afar and it's Mamdani, then you zoom in and it's actually Gianmarco Soresi
“Straight guys can’t bottom?” Spector asks, incredulously. “I mean, people can play with dominance and submission in heterosexual relationships.... We deconstruct, these things are not fixed…. It’s theater, baby. We’re all playing in the same sandbox.” https://t.co/vcs9jHCRrv
