Fixed it by telling Steam I live in California. Seems to be related to content on Atlanta servers

Anybody else in the world trying to install Tron: Catalyst (PC, Steam) and getting Corrupt Download every time at ~586.2MB? Uninstalled, rebooted, etc. Always the same @troncatalyst @BithellGames @BigFanPresents

We need a USB port on the cabinet to power this. Luckily the @arcade_1up cabinets have a USB port inside, presumably for loading or recovering firmware, it just needs to be extended to the top of the cab with a ~1" drill bit. I assume this is a quite common mod. 7/9

We need to turn him into Ms Pac Man, easy enough with some 3D printed parts and some multi-color prints. 6/9

With a contender for the simplest firmware ever, it's trivial to program, wire up, and hot glue the PCB and microphone back into place. 5/9

I have an @adafruit KB2040 that I got for free with an order some time ago, it's been super useful for many prototypes, but it became sacrificial in this project. It can be powered by +3.3V through the RAW pin and has GPIO suitable for pretending to be a button. 4/9

We pop this baby open and identify a possible JTAG or programming interface, but it seems like way too much work to see if it's possible to extract and modify the firmware. It's much easier to add a cheap microcontroller and simulate a button push on power on. 3/9

No time to build something from scratch, but I liked the idea of using this Pac Man lamp from @paladone. It had a few problems, first of all it's Pac Man and not Ms Pac Man, and when it receives power, it doesn't automatically light up. It starts "off" in "Mode 4". 2/9

My daughters have been asking for a Ms Pac Man machine (specifically a Class of 1981 machine, long story). But I couldn't bear to have this thing appear on Christmas morning without a special custom topper. Let's talk about all the hacks necessary to make this happen. 1/9
