Like @Brannavan I was thrilled with the community support for the two South Asian Voices events at the @wcl_library venues. So much delight in the audience and they bought the books too! Definitely recommended to other centres.

What an absolute treat! Had been on phone with Air NZ for more than four hours, but just managed to get to “Bloodlines” (7 mins late) with the absolutely wonderful @WednesdayBusk and Mary M of @TheCubaPress. Funny, insightful, brilliant. @nelsonartsfest

It’s National Poetry Day! And here’s our newest poet with a poem from her debut collection ‘Shelter’, launched this month ... to hear the rest head to our FB or Insta. It’s Kirsten Le Harivel and the poem is called ‘Volcanoes have the shortest names’.

Great time to hunker down with some local crime. @Shiretane reckons The Leaning Man by @ajrharre is a goodie.
Why was her friend killed, how does the body in the harbour fit in, who will get to Mad-Dog first? The answers are worse than you fear - The Leaning Man by @ajrharre, a great debut crime novel. My review: https://t.co/rfkt1W9V82
