I finished 126th out of 1257 players at EUIC with an 8-4 record! Such an unreal weekend and I’m so happy that I was able to get my first Day 2 and play some amazing opponents! First shoutouts go to @Arkaaali for suggesting I try this and @rizabeth373 for the original team (1/?)

The more I read about the new season the worse it gets, they added 5 slots for EU 😭😭😭.

Pretty disappointed that EU is only getting one new regional location, the rest are identical. How much do we have to ask for a Dublin regional 😭.

Another NA stream, another 2 6-X matches in Round 7 and Round 8. Just proof they don’t listen to the people.

Max has been so underrated for a long time and it’s great to see him pop off this season with some massive finishes. Couldn’t be more proud! 💪 🇮🇪.

Too many regional finals being decided by RNG as of recent 😭.

I think that these special events in smaller regions need to be fixed for starters, and then for actual qualification either lowering BFLs, or going back to CP targets. This could be at 600/700 or so.

I hope that for next season, we will see a change to Worlds Qualification. What started as a system to be exclusive to the best players has turned into qualifying based on how many events you can afford to go to. Now we see this with the SA Special Events. What would fix this?.

All this new VGC hype has got me thinking 2026 ain’t ready for Wolfe Glick vs CTC in the Grand Finals of the World Championships.

It’s also really frustrating that we don’t get to see newer VGC players get their chance to shine on stream at 5-2/ 5-1. Paired with the fact that there are a bunch of segments in the middle of games which no one cares for it just makes for a really poor viewer experience.

NA Pokemon regional streams are actually so badly thought out and produced. We had Pokeaim on his win and in, and instead of showing that we had to watch two 7-0 players play? Seriously who makes these decisions? It’s baffling @playpokemon.
