Ryno, may he rest in peace, was truly one of the GOATS at his position and of his era. How good was he? . He literally retired, didn't play a whole season, then decided to play again and casually belted 25 home runs in 1996. RIP.

Hats off to @TheSkippersView for an excellent breakdown of what we know so far about the Ohtani lawsuit. Agree with this bottom line, based on what we know so far this is not a "scandal". Business deals go bad and end up in litigation all the time.
Bottom line: . This is a high-dollar commercial dispute with headline optics — not a criminal scandal. Until Ohtani’s side files, treat everything as allegations and keep the facts tight.

I don't have a dog in the fight of the Ohtani lawsuit, and when I read the Complaint I'll offer some thoughts, but in the meantime it's worth noting that the attorneys representing the Plaintiff also represented such unsavory characters as Harvey Weinstein and the New York.

Without the leg injury, Gant could have finished his career with stats and hardware on the dynastic 90's Braves that would certainly have put him in the HOF discussion. Gant was my favorite player on the 91-93 Braves and his career will always be a "what if" for me and.
