Last January, @tesco reported a 10% increase in non-alcoholic drink sales compared with 2022. Non-alcoholic spirits rose 40%, wine was up by 20%, and beer and cider by 15%. Ready to try something different this January? We are a safe, welcoming, alcohol-free space.

At this time of year, parties, social pressures, and memories tied to old habits mean it's easy to feel overwhelmed. We’re here to support you every step of the way. If you're looking for a safe, welcoming space to enjoy alcohol-free drinks or a listening ear, our door is open ❤️

We don’t have non-alcoholic wines, beers or spirits and sometimes people ask why. The reason is that they can be triggering for people who are trying to stay away from alcohol. We aim to make The Brink as safe a space as possible for everyone.

The Brink building will be closing early next Monday, 2nd December, at 1pm, as our team will be off to enjoy our staff Christmas meal. But don’t worry - it’s business as usual in the morning as the café will be open and serving food and drinks ☕

This Friday evening, The Brink will host a Candlelight Vigil and Remembrance Event, to remember those we’ve lost to addiction. If you would like a loved one���s name included in the remembrance roll call, please contact 0151 703 0679 or email lesley.rimmer@forwardtrust.org.uk.
