There were a lot of laughs in the Bothy today. We embraced the Monster theme of this years @gsc1 Halloween Family Party, jumped on the band wagon and painted some pumpkins. Our young creatives from @AyrshireColl were pretty pleased with their art and design work #paintedpumpkin

We started posting on here 5 years ago, today! This platform has given us the opportunity to share with you all everything we do in our community learning team. We couldn't do any of it without the collaborative efforts and generous support from @gsc1

The team had a busy weekend getting out into the community to join 2 very different events. We loved meeting the friendly community of @whitlawburncrc to talk all things energy and sustainable food growing. On Sunday we were back at @childrens_wood Harvest Festival! 🍎🍃🐝

We loved joining forces in the sunshine today with our neighbours @BBCScotland and @StSavioursGovan to take part in the @GlasgowCC Big Govan Community Litter Pick #community #govan

We were thrilled to spend the day, in the very sunny East End campus of @GKCollege .Lots of fun activities, advice, student support and yummy treats on offer, hosted by @gkcsa to kick off the new academic year. Well done to all who designed a land yacht #kelvinfreshers

There is always time to explore the 3 floors of interactive exhibits in the science mall @gsc1 Thank you so much to the lovely staff and young people @IntoUniversity the whole day was a great example of community working together. #CommunityEngagement

The most fun was the pond dipping back @gsc1 as we looked at all the wonderful insects that live in our wetlands. As our Wee Forest mural says "If we look after our wildlife, we look after ourselves".N.B. We did of course release all the little creatures back to the wetlands.

We were delighted to be joined by the young people @IntoUniversity ,who are learning about the importance of community, as their summer topic. We took a walk through Govan to the Wee Forest, and after a litter pick, met the mural artist. 🌞

We are so happy with the colourful design inspired by leaves and insects in the outdoor classroom at the Wee Forest. This is Yoyo's first professional job after graduating from @impactarts . He has amazing creative skills and it was our pleasure to support him this week.

The sun finally made an appearance today🌞Giving our lovely artists Barry and Yoyo a chance to finish repainting a beautiful mural at the Wee Forest space in Govan. The community team , along with the artists collaborated with the young people at @impact_arts for the design🎨
