One last Sixers thought (for now): The Process technically started when the Sixers traded Jrue Holiday for Nerlens Noel. With the exception of Embiid and Jimmy Butler, Holiday is arguably better than everyone who has put on a Sixers uniform over the past 10 years.

Me: "Maybe we need to re-think this whole Ben Simmons thing..."
An anonymous NBA executive believes the Sixers will need to choose between Ben Simmons and Joel Embiid - - if Philadelphia has an earlier than expected playoff exit, per

* James Harden speaks to the media for the first time since the trade *
Howard Eskin: "So, Daryl... is it true that you can't trade a first round pick until 2029?"
Re: Sixers-Harden negotiations: I'm told the Rockets have asked the Sixers for 3 first round picks in addition to Ben Simmons. As many others have reported, the Sixers so far have been unwilling to include Simmons in any proposals.
9 months ago, the Sixers went 7 games with the Raptors, even with Embiid not at 100%. Ben + Joel ain't the problem - the rest of the roster is the problem.
"You cannot pair Ben Simmons, with his deficiencies, with Joel Embiid and be able to call yourself a contender. It has to either be built around Ben Simmons' unique talents or you have to build it around Joel Embiid." —

This is the same multi-billion dollar organization that cut salaries during the pandemic to the point where Joel Embiid felt moved to help cover the gap.

The internet's favorite QB rankings are back. I'll give it away: Patrick Mahomes is no. 1 away but you have to click to see the rest of them.

Ben Simmons on his barber: "He sent me a text. He felt bad, but you know, it is what it is. It's a crazy time right now. He's still my barber for sure, because he's got those fresh lineups."
"Shouldn't have played Embiid" is maybe the last thing I would conclude watching this game but I suppose that's a matter of opinion many of us disagree on lol
100%... From a purely PR perspective, if he had just done a sit-down interview back in the summer and said what he did today, there would be a lot less animosity today. He might even be in a better mental state as a result.
Biggest problem with Ben Simmons is the fact that he could have came out and told everyone this six months ago and the majority of people would have accepted it and supported him.
