On Friday 18th July 2025, I was sworn in as the 38th Public Relations Officer of the University of Ilorin Students’ Union @UilStudentUnion. I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to serve our University community at this pivotal level.

While efforts have always been underway on ensuring that the temporary challenges occasioned by this University wide transportation policy are gone, other areas of administration should not suffer for it as Unilorites deserve all round leadership in this critical moment.

We have constantly engaged the University management on the transportation issue, although being a general University policy, it affects our student community significantly. We would not also lose sight of other responsibilities to all Innovative Unilorites beyond transportation.

The school-owned hostels are very limited in number and considering the yearnings of our colleagues who are well interested and couldn't get bedspaces at the earlier balloting, we have liased and have been granted a reballoting which holds tomorrow. Best of luck as you ballot!

Normal registration extended from 10th October to 3rd November. We were able to seek for more than 3 weeks (24 days) extension of normal registration fee payment before the commencement of late registration charges. It's #TheNewDawnAdministration!

For a federal university no amount of bus provided by the school will be enough, they should allow commercial buses operate like they normally do. I don't think you stood in that queue yesterday.

UPDATE: Since yesterday and at the moment, Soludero Long Buses have been operating to convey our colleagues, complementing the existing University vehicles. Ease is near!
