Congratulations to first-year Arabian racehorse owner Jessica Williams on her first win. It was the second career win for first-year Arabian trainer Antwain Franklin. And, jockey Adrian Morales was aboard.

The most famous margin of victory in American horse racing is 31 lengths by Secretariat in the 1973 Belmont. In Thursday’s Arabian race at @RetamaPark in Texas, Farfales A Far won by 31 3/4 lengths.

It's the third year in a row that a #racebredarabian has captured Tevis, with Supersonic Zell joining Ozarks Kaolena SWA and Treasured Moments. It was Heather Reynolds' fourth Tevis, with two previous coming on former racehorses Cayucos and French Open.

Treasured Moments (DA Adios x Hidden Treasure, by RD Five Star) will be ridden by Jeremy Reynolds, who took the Tevis Cup win in both 2021 and 2023 as well as the 2017 Haggin Cup, which is awarded to the Tevis Cup horse "in the most superior physical condition.".

The stakes race included some of the best of this generation. Champions Like Moulin Rouge, Paddys Day, and Quick Sand AA—the top-3 finishers, respectively—all had long careers, epitomizing the heartiness of Arabian racehorses.

Arabian horse racing in America has become about much more than racing. It’s about how the racehorses have become ambassadors for the Arabian breed on and off the track. This “Where Are They Now?” from the 2022 Emirates Breeders VIP Stakes at Arapahoe Park is a great example. 🧵

The stretch run of the Firecracker Distaff at @RetamaPark came down to the RoseBrook duo of RB Badonkadonk and RB Burn the Bill. RB Burn the Bill, the first foal to race out of undefeated champion dam RB Feel the Burn and by Madj Al Arab, ran down her stablemate for the victory.
