Reiterate our strong commitment to supporting all stakeholders in developing and implementing the CAADP and the post-Malabo agenda for the progress and transformation of Africa’s agrifood systems (5/5).

Reject the enduring silo mentality. Instead support efforts at building coherence, synergies, and complementarities among the various stakeholders concerned, and commit to building strategic coalitions to address agrifood systems transformation holistically and systemically (4/5).

and to provide them with a formal role in post-Malabo feedback and accountability frameworks. (3/5).

Further urge Africa’s Heads of State, the @_AfricanUnion and other CAADP stakeholders to recognise the catalytic role of MPs in ensuring the effective implementation of CAADP policies, through our core mandates of legislation, budgeting, representation and oversight (3/5).

Commit to ensuring that agrifood systems agendas remain central priorities at national and regional levels, and that our countries draw closer to achieving the target of 10% of national budgets invested in agriculture and food systems. (2/5).
