Is this it too? Do teams think that whatever they offer the Mets can/will just match or beat it? Tough to bid against someone who just sold a gold toilet for $12,000,000.
@The7Line Has any Met in the cohen era had a hot free agent market once their contract ends w/ Mets?At most 1-2 other teams are involved. Even Jake,it was just the rangers. I think Mets going to FA will always have a cooler market in part cuz teams are scared to bid against us and be used.
