As the only 2 #d3fb programs that played in round 1 and have made it to round 3, I will be cheering on Wheaton and Susquehanna as one of them hopefully becomes the 1st D3 football team to play 16 games in a season!

This is very interesting news. I don't know if something like this ever happened in #d3fb in the playoffs.
To summarize what happened today in NAIA Football. ā”ļøMarian has been withdrawn from the postseason. ā”ļøThis is due to the participation of an ineligible student athlete which was self-reported by Marian. ā”ļøKeiser University will advance to the semifinals.

@The3rd_Division Start by not assuming you can monetize other peopleās footage for yourself. You have made it clear that your only intent is to monetize your videos to make big money on TikTok. Youāre not asking for the good of D3; youāre asking for this to pad your wallet.

Thanks for the clarification. Iām asking specifically about the process you use to obtain footage for playoff games. Fair use covers very limited portions of copyrighted material, but the NCAAās licensing partner told me that any championship venue footage requires a license.
@The3rd_Division We are a media organization that has fair use rights for highlights in our normal operations/sportscast. Perhaps you should direct your questions to D3 Zone, who is placing every single play on YouTube, presumably for monetization purposes and not as a news/sportscasting entity.

Out of curiosity, what arrangement do you have with the NCAA or ESPN+ that lets you use playoff footage for highlight reels? Iāve been reaching out to SIDs from the Round of 16 sites, and while a few shared full replays, most said they couldnāt since it was an NCAA playoff event
