A good point to thinkn about π.The government will fear that we will not be able to save enough for retirement due to the lack of work. With a UBI people could be safe in the knowledge that they could retire. This is a part of the economic discussion that needs to be had.
@ThatSociologist And also a good explanation of why the pension age has to keep rising under these circumstances.
