Do you export hazardous #chemicals from the EU? .From 1 March 2025, EU exporters are required to notify their intentions to export 40 additional chemicals. Most of them also require an explicit consent from the importing country. #EU_PIC

New task for @EU_ECHA. Together with other #EUagencies, ECHA will perform a joint public health risk assessment if alerted to a serious cross-border threat to health. The agency’s task will be to provide data if such threats originate from chemicals.

ECHA's data and expert advice on #chemicals will be used to support regulation of industrial emissions in the EU. With the revised Industrial Emissions Directive, the Agency gets a new supporting role.
