The Thames Tideway Tunnel continues to improve the health of the River Thames, with now over 7.8 million cubic metres of sewage being diverted away from the river and into @TidewayLondon's #SuperSewer. Cleaner rivers mean more outdoor spaces for us all to enjoy – and more.
The #SuperSewer has now diverted over 7.8 million tonnes of sewage pollution which would historically have overflowed into the Thames. Our website tracker shows the volume of sewage being prevented from entering the river which you can follow here: 🌊

Inspired by the hard work of @Thames21, we’re helping @LondonPortAuth remove 180 tonnes of congealed wet wipes – the weight of 15 double decker London buses – from the River Thames 🚌. This month-long operation is the country’s first mass wet wipe removal project of its kind.

#SE13 - We've fixed the broken pipe at Thurston Road, and your supply should now be returning to normal. The pressure will be lower than normal at first, but this will improve as the pressure continues to build in the pipe. Sorry for any disruption.
