I’m going to be really candid on here for a moment about this team, which I love so much—we will never get out of this constant loop in the NIL era. I love Jon Sumrall and am grateful for what he’s added to our program in his short time here, but Tulane will never see another(1)

I mean…. When a coach says things like “hard work is the way” or “you’ve got to push and strain to see results,” some players start to question whether that coach really lives by it. This man is the definition of it. Anytime, any place — Coach, I’m laying my life on the line
13 weeks ago I was told to go make peace with my family, make sure my Will was in order & contact Hospice. Then I could only high bar squat the bar for 3. 8 weeks later I could do 95 lbs for multiple sets of 3. Today I hit 205 for 3 on quarter squats. #Unbreakable
