Would slow progression, increase monument PvP for BPs for those that want end game and allow all different playstyles to thrive.

Thoughts on update after a few days of playing. Doesn't altering tech tree, removing key Guns and explosives from it, achieve the exact same thing, without the linear gameplay loop? Something that has been parroted for years, but still holds true.

I mainly worry that hardcore will not hold players again and facepunch will write off most, if not all of the changes as a failrue. When SOME of the changes are excellent in isolation, but the majority of people don't want to play a 'hardcore' version or rust.

Some of these hardcore changes should be looked at for vanilla rust. Mainly the removal of drone shops, personally don't see any game modes lasting more than a few weeks, they mainly have the initial hype that's really it. People want to play vanilla , not extra game modes.
