We live in unprecedented times. The BC Supreme Court declared aboriginal land title over private property areas in Richmond! Homeowners are being told that their properties may be at risk following a decision granting control of land to an Indigenous band. Help us fight back.

Private property rights are the foundation of a free and prosperous British Columbia. Without them, none of us can feel secure about our future. If you can’t count on your property rights, you can’t count on your freedom. Stand with us and demand full protection for your

Bill 31 empowers David Eby and Cabinet to decide who gets electricity and who doesn’t. It allows the NDP to pick winners and losers in the private sector with minimal oversight. This is energy policy central planning — and it’s the wrong direction for a free and innovative

I've spent a lot of time listening to arguments from BC's lead lawyer and AG today --- and then reading this op-ed actively made me dumber.

You might as well bang your head against a wall several times rather than read this gibberish. It says nothing about the BCgov's position acutal, the AG's arguments, the court case or anything of value at all. If anything, it's a sly misdirection of BC's actual position.

A family’s life savings and mortgage are now at risk — this is not just paperwork, it’s someone’s home and future on the line. No homeowner should face this kind of uncertainty. We must protect people’s rights and ensure clear answers for families caught in this situation.
Richmond Property owners who says he’s owned his home since 1975 and paying taxes on it has been told by his lender they won’t be renewing his mortgage after First Nations land claim. This is just the start.

I am really saddened to see Floata closing. One of the oldest restaurants in our historical Chinatown, Floata wasn’t just a place to eat. It was a gathering place for generations of British Columbians, families, and community groups. This one hits close to home for me. I worked

The Cowichan Tribes court decision is now creating confusion and burden for many Richmond residents worried about their property rights. Yet Premier Eby laughed off threats to property rights and overlooked the issue when it first surfaced. This is no laughing matter — people

MLA Kelly Greene is attempting damage control because she's been asleep at the wheel ever since this decision came out. Don't take it from me. This is from the Attorney General's own directive. #bcpoli
@BCConservCaucus
Let’s be clear: the BC gov decided to not argue extinguishment in this case in 2015 - when John Rustad was Aboriginal Relations Minister and Teresa Wat was in cabinet. BC made the strongest possible case to protect private property. And we will continue to do so in our appeal.

The NDP government’s failure to properly handle the Cowichan Tribes court case and ruling has caused serious confusion — especially for property and landowners right here in Richmond. Instead of providing clear answers and guidance, this government has left residents uncertain

David Eby mocked Conservatives in 2024 for raising the alarm on indigenous title vs. private property. One year later, and the fundamental freedom of private property is under attack across our province.

Today, I rose in the Legislature to call on this NDP government to provide clear answers to Richmond homeowners and landowners affected by the Cowichan Tribes court case. Many Richmond residents were shocked to receive letters saying Aboriginal title has been declared on their

Lawrence is scary smart! Well acknowledged Gavin.
Some people have chosen to race bait using this video of @LawrenceMok_ They want you to think his accent makes him illiterate, illegitimate, or unserious. Lawrence has 9 degrees and 30 years of business experience. An accent doesn’t make you a lesser Canadian. #bcpoli

The City of Richmond has warned property owners that a recent B.C. Supreme Court ruling in the Cowichan Tribes land title case could affect private ownership. This decision has raised serious questions about how property rights will be treated across the province. As John Rustad

I agree with Angelo here. Lawrence Mok is an amazing human being. Such an incredible, kind, and genuine person. To talk about him like that is absolutely shameful.
Lawrence Mok is likely the most educated MLA in history and one of the nicest people you’ll meet. He’s a proud Canadian who deserves respect. People who want to attack him need to look in the mirror.

The NDP government has failed to defend Richmond property and land owners in the Cowichan Tribes case. As the Vancouver Sun noted, the government did not advance arguments based upon unilateral extinguishment of Aboriginal rights — creating confusion and chaos for residents.
