Order of Plays for Thursday:. Medvedev starts the day and then Raducanu/Osaka, Shelton/Diallo, Tiafoe/Cobolli and Venus thereafter, very good schedule. Not to mention Pegula and Fritz are playing on the outer courts, as is De Minaur vs Lehecka and Nakashima vs Norrie.

ATP 500 WASHINGTON R3: Corentin Moutet wins 6-2, 7⁷-6⁴ against Dan Evans. Takes out the 2023 champion and after losing in the qualifying, Moutet is into the Quarterfinals.

WTA 500 WASHINGTON R2: Emma Raducanu wins 6-4, 6-2 against Naomi Osaka. Way too many errors from Osaka's forehand to be competitive, but the story here will be how well Raducanu is playing at the moment, set up for a good North American swing.

Raducanu leads Osaka 6-4. Osaka dumped her serve early in the set and that was the difference, really couldn't gain any traction on the Raducanu serve before a 15-30 in that last game.

ATP 500 WASHINGTON R3: Brandon Nakashima wins 7⁷-6³, 6-3 against Cam Norrie. Good win for the American, will face De Minaur or Lehecka tomorrow.

I've said this a few times now but he rushed back from the injury at Wimbledon last year to play the North American swing and it's had consequences a year later. Will miss the US Open.

ATP 500 WASHINGTON R3: Daniil Medvedev wins 6-3, 6-2 against Yibing Wu. One of his better performances in awhile. Good draw here in DC, could do something potentially.

WTA 250 PRAUGE QF: Linda Noskova wins 6-2, 4-6, 6-3 against Katerina Siniakova. Very up and down match from Noskova, lot of unforced errors especially in that 2nd set but played well at times to pull through.

Siniakova wins the 2nd 6-4 vs Noskova to force a 3rd in Prauge. Turned this on before the matches in Washington begin, lot of unforced errors in that set.
