So. the team has been working on something. We're not there yet - there's still plenty to go, but we're on the way. This is a preview. Things will change from where this is now to where it will land. But we want people to know that significant progress is happening. 🙏

People form communities to be connected with one another. When you incentivise people to grow their reach by paying for it, you reward centralised platform for attacking your dopamine. LASKO pushes genuine connection and community. It's time to flip the paradigm.
This platform is dying & my engagement has dropped off a cliff. I used to think X was throttling my posts based on topic, since I mostly talk about viruses & vaccines and/or criticize American fascists. But X also gives me this constantly. Why chase clout when you can buy it?

Centralised platforms aren't just censoring people who walk the line of being a troll or a conspiracy theorist; it's poor design 'throttles' individuals contributing "high quality and thoughtful research and analysis". Josiah's posts are the type that should be encouraged; not.
I published this same article on Substack at the same time. I have 23x as many followers here than there but I have less engagement here on X. That doesn't pass the smell test. My conclusion is that my account is being throttled. I've noticed a steep drop off on average.

As Twitter, my audience grew organically all the time, leaping by ~10k a month at the point I was deplatformed (254k followers). As X, it is dead level stagnant for years, but I am invited to pay to play nonstop. We are in a rigged game. Social media became asocial with algos.

This happens daily. Voices being silences by centralised social media because they don't fit the narrative they want told. Voices being silenced for an agenda. Is this the social media you want? Or are you ready to embrace the true alternative. .
