I’ll be honest. It really hit me today that I will NOT be in the radio booth for my #Padres on opening day. You know what makes that ok? That my beloved San Diego has a terrific team that with good health and good luck is good enough to win the World Series. Keep the faith!

Have my #padres ever had a top of the rotation duo like Blake Snell and Yu Darvish? NO! ‘18 Cy Young winner. ‘20 runner up. On stuff alone. Peavy-Maddux in ‘07? Greg not in his prime then. Brown-Ashby ‘98? Don’t think so. Remarkable day for Padres fans! You deserve it.

Honestly most recent #Padres teams down 5-0 would be “Game over man!” Not this team. Talent and guts a real nice combination. And as AJ Preller tells me speaking of the top prospects still in the minors: “More to come!” Enjoy Padres fans.

Forgive me #Padres listeners! So astounded and mesmerized describing Fernando’s leaping catch last night I forgot to “Hang a Star!” Not like he won’t make a gazzilion more great plays but still....What a player. What a Preller trade.

Looking back at the season-disappointments and all-thanks #Padres fans. YOU were awesome at almost 2.4m strong at Petco starting with the most exciting opening day I’ve ever experienced. Out drawing the Nats A’s & Rays for ‘19! And thank you for supporting our radio broadcasts.

Great #Aztecs fans or what? Never ever thought I was a “star” until they kept a parking space for me at the football games. Now I must be!!!

In my 25th year broadcasting #Aztecs football and basketball and can’t recall a better 3 days than the 2 wins in Las Vegas for Dutch and Rocky’s boys beating long time rival BYU tonight. Fantastic!

On this Veterans Day thinking of Lt Col Gerald Coleman United States Marine Corps. Yankee. Padre. Warrior for his country. Blessed to work alongside him for 35 years in the #padres radio booth. (My partner with Joe DiMaggio at one of many Yankee celebrations). Be with God Jer
