Portfolio update 🥳 One of the projects I contributed to with the Digital Working Group at DevFest Lagos was the Ticketing Website & Platform. Nearly everyone who attended DevFest Lagos used this platform, and I was part of the team that built it. This is one of the reasons I

You might not want to be a full stack Dev when you work for a company but knowing how it works for your side project would boost your knowledge low-key 😌

But trust me even if you want to focus on one thing ... Knowing how another thing works would help you work with it much fast than the average knowledge you just have and see it from a different perspective...

You are right since I started learning backend I haven't focused on a single project and it been killing me cause I have this urge to jump to the next one I get your point but at the same time I learnt it cause I wanted to know how it works and trust me I learnt alot
The most unserious group of people are full-stack developers. I say this from years of wasted effort. It's better to focus on one area and excel at it.

The truth is you’re usually ready for freelancing jobs before you even feel ready. However, there are some clear, non-negotiable “signals” you should check for so you don’t step in blind. Stepping in blind is a bad idea anyway. Basically, you’re generally ready for freelancing
@mxochai one question when do u know ur ready for freelancing jobs

Every engineer should be able to implement their own authentication. The fact that this is even a conversation is scary. What do you mean you can’t implement your own auth and must use an external or third-party service because some tech influencer told you it’s best practice?
