One of the wildest things about depression is so many great things can be happening for you even in the midst of feeling down. It’s an internal and external battle that I’ve been fighting through and I’m just grateful for everything. 🥹

My mom saw me and said WOW you look so nice!!! I haven’t seen you in regular clothes in a very long time honey!!! I’m happy to see you dressed!! I could’ve cried. Because it was a small step but a huge step to ME. And the fact that she noticed. 🥹 I’m on my way back to joy!

In other news. Today was the first day I’ve put on regular clothes and not athletic wear during the daytime just to work in years. My depression shows in different ways. This was one of them. Dressing nice and looking nice was what I was known for so to be out of that was yeah..
