Met up with some lovely people at a Patient Participation Group, at a GP practice in Loughborough this evening. A group member and previous renal patient with us, invited me to talk about the role of therapy on the renal wards at Glenfield Hospital.

This week we opened our new dialysis unit in South Wigston to treat people with kidney disease. The new purpose-built Leicester South Dialysis Unit has 35 dialysis stations with capacity to increase to 49 stations as demand rises and is fitted out with the latest technology.
