Really strong effort today. Just wasn’t quite enough. Ty Gibbs misses the playoffs for the first time since his rookie season. Now it’s time to play spoiler.

Ty Gibbs was pretty unhappy with how long NASCAR took to throw the yellow after Joey Logano is spun off of 4 right in front of him. The 5 second delay cost him around four or five spots on the final restart.

Really a terrible precedent to wait on a yellow on a situation like that. Drivers get out of it in order to avoid hitting someone. Leaving it green just encourages people to floor it. P7.

Lots of changes going on in the front and Ty is locked on the bottom with not much Toyota help. 17 in front. 22 leading our lane.

Ty was asked if he either wants to use the iPad or watch the hose to see how much fuel is left in it. They are going to keep both but Ty is going when the hose is empty. Good stop. No issues.
